Compendium Corporation was created because we realized that good, local salary data is hard to find. And while organizations realize the value of paying according to market, they need an affordable comprehensive source for their own communities.
Most surveys are expensive and data is gathered for larger city centres; leaving those on the periphery, or in smaller geographic areas, trying to determine how they should adjust the data to be fair to themselves and their employees.
Our approach is to work with local Chambers of Commerce to support their membership and the larger communities in determining what to pay for local jobs. Only local information is included, which reduces the risk of inflating or devaluing pay. When companies register to participate in the survey they receive a guide book that includes over 80 job descriptions in multiple job families and market sectors. We gather data confidentially, do the analysis and deliver a comprehensive report in time for your budget planning.
Each report represents the region in which your business is located - but if you source people from another community for particular positions or job families, you can buy the entire report for that area or request a report for a job family from the larger report.
Our goal is to meet the compensation planning needs of local organizations.
